The Westover or Kings Heights area is part of Portland’s Hillside neighborhood. A reflection of the close ties the residents of this neighborhood share is the Hillside Community Center which was designed in the 1940’s by noted Portland architect, Pietro Belluschi and saved in the passing years by grassroots fundraising and financing by local families. The Hillside Community Center plays host to numerous community events like ice cream socials and Fourth of July celebrations. Bordering MacLeay Park, this quiet residential neighborhood is just minutes to the amenities of the NW District. Westover is perched on the terraced hillside above the NW District and is fully developed with single family homes in a variety of styles from historic to contemporary, many of which have spectacular city and mountain views.
