This year’s South Waterfront Urban Harvest Kickoff is tonight from 6-8 pm at the Community Relations Townhome at the Atwater.  Its free and open to the public.

Enjoy this celebration of eating local, fresh, sustainable food with presentations from Francesca Benedetti of Sauvie Island Organics, Geoff Granum from the South Waterfront Community Garden, Eecole Copen of the OHSU Farmer’s Market and Jeremy Solly creator of MadAboutGardening.com.

The event also features a sampling of cuisine from Chef Tim McCusker of The Rustic Palate and local wine.  The menu sounds delicious!  Don’t miss it – especially if you’ve been wanting to check out this exciting neighborhood – the South Waterfront has much to offer!
