If you’re looking to get out of the city this weekend to do something fun go check out the Amity Daffodil Festival.  Amity is a quiet little town located about 40 miles from downtown Portland on Hwy 99 just south of McMinnville.

The festival is an educational program of Amity School District and is produced by the Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation class of Amity High School in cooperation with the Oregon Daffodil Society, the Mac Trackers Walking Club and the ADF Advisory Committee.  Enjoy a lovely spring walk and hallway art displays, an art sale, a yummy buffet and nursery sales.  March 12 – 13 from 8 am to 4 pm.
