Sand in the City – Portland’s Livingroom Gets Beachy for a Good Cause

This weekend Pioneer Courthouse Square aka Portland’s Living Room will be filled with 450 tons of sand where amateur and master sand scupltors alike will duke it out in scuplting competitions the results of which will bring a smile to anyone’s face!
Add to the mix that Yoshida’s Sand in the City, sponsored by Pacific Power, is a benefit for Impact Northwest a non-profit promoting self-sufficiency and its a time you will not only enjoy but will be doing a little good in the process. Sand in the City also features music, family entertainment and food. Flip flops required!
